日常生活中具有消光效果的物品随处可见：在家中，在上班的路上，或在夜幕下的餐馆里都可见其踪影。室内家具多采用了消光面，覆盖于餐馆外部的木质板材基本也消光外表。

Articles with extinction effect can be seen everywhere in daily life: at home, on the way to work, or in the restaurant under the night. Interior furniture mostly uses extinction surface, covering the exterior of the restaurant with wooden board.

防反光是一项课题。摩天大楼表面一般不刷光亮的涂料，而是在钢或铝的基材上用预先涂漆的板材进行覆盖，且均使用用消光涂料，以避免产生危险的反光，刺激行人或汽车司机的眼睛。

Antireflection is a subject. Generally, the surface of skyscrapers is not painted with bright paint, but covered with pre painted plates on the steel or aluminum substrate, and all of them are coated with extinction paint to avoid dangerous reflection and stimulate the eyes of pedestrians or car drivers.

此外，经济实用是选择涂料表面状态的另一个重要因素。比如，当某些基材被擦伤、有轻微凹坑以及弄脏时，采用消光涂料可以掩饰这些缺陷，而涂覆光亮漆却难以掩盖此类瑕疵。

In addition, economic and practical is another important factor in the selection of coating surface state. For example, when some base materials are scratched, slightly dented or dirty, the defects can be covered up by the extinction paint, while the defects can not be covered by the bright paint.

一、什么是消光效果？

比如色彩，不论是消光还是光亮的外表，都是我们的感官所形成的一种主观印象。光线从一个平整的表面反射到我们的眼睛中，我们根据其光泽进行归类。

For example, color, whether it is extinction or bright appearance, is a subjective impression formed by our senses. Light is reflected into our eyes from a flat surface, and we classify it according to its luster.

精确地说，只有照射在表面的部分光线被直接反射回来，其余的进入漆膜，在内部散射开来，并被颜料和基材吸收。而反射的强度则取决于表面的平整度。例如镜子，众所周知对光线反射率高，其表面十分光亮。相反，微观粗糙的漆膜表面散射光线，只反射部分光线。

To be precise, only part of the light shining on the surface is directly reflected back, and the rest enters the paint film, scatters in the interior, and is absorbed by the pigment and the substrate. The intensity of reflection depends on the flatness of the surface. For example, a mirror is known for its high reflectivity to light and its surface is very bright. On the contrary, the surface of micro rough paint film scatters light and only reflects part of it.
